Failure is not an option - by Keith Littlepage

For everyone, this is a statement of success I wrote to myself on 12/16/01. I share it with you for encouragement and inspiration in light the challenges of this business.

Financial success is essential. Failure is not an option. I will achieve the level of financial success that provides me the freedom to accomplish my goals and objectives. I will produce financial prosperity that supplies my family with the dreams that only a few achieve. I will endow my heritage with a financial dynasty that will bless them for generations.

The accumulation of wealth for wealth's sake, however, awards meaningless victories and creates a shallow impact. Prosperity for the purpose of accumulation of possessions and personal pleasures rings hollow. One may have riches to purchase any fancy and fulfill any desire, but to die alone and without the affection of loved ones and friends would be an empty victory and the definition of true poverty. For it is not the prosperity that is the end but the amount of good that one can do and can be done with that prosperity. There are many worthy causes that deserve the financial support that my wealth can provide. There are civic and community organizations that rely on my philanthropic generosity. There are numerous churches that are in dire need of my financial support. I know of ministries that totally depend on the giving of those who have to give from their abundance.

To quit, or fail to succeed would rob from those who would be the recipient of my financial generosity. Therefore, I will succeed. I will not quit. I will not fail. My financial success is essential. Failure is not an option.
